ينقسم الكتاب إلى جزئين، وبين فيهما الكثير من المحاور الهامة، على رأسها الحديث عن فضل العرب على غيرهم، وفضل قريش على غيرها، والحديث عن علوم العرب ونبوغهم. ومما تناوله هذا الكتاب أيضا قوله تعالى \"كنتم خير أمة أخرجت للناس\"، وقوله \" لا يؤاخذكم الله باللغو في أيمانكم\"، وتناول التقوى وقول الله \"إن أكرمكم عند الله أتقاكم\"، وقوله \"أو أثارة من علم\" وقوله تعالى \"واجعل لي لسان صدق في الآخرين\" وكل هذه الآيات وغيرها يوضح موقع العرب منها وكيف تدل على فضلهم، ويفسرها تفسيرا ماتعا.
