يتناول الكتاب الجديد للمهندس المعماري عبد الواحد منتصر بعنوان «المدن الضواحي يوميات عبر قطار» حيث أنه تجربة مختلفة كلية عن الكتابين مختلفة كلية عن الكتابين السابقين اللذين كان لي فيهما نصيب من المساهمة في التأليف، كتابة وتوقيعا، أعني كتابي : عبد المنتصر المهندس الإنسان والمدينة السعيدة. إنه ثمرة رحلات ليلية عبر قطار البيضاء - وجدة / وجدة - البيضاء قام بها وحيد منتصر مرات عديدة وهي التي شكلت النص الرئيس لهذا الكتاب. ويليه نص فرعي إضافي هو بدوره ثمرة مشاهدات وملاحظات أوحى لي بها سفر نهاري عبر قطار طنجة ـ الرباط .
