يقدم الفصل الأول تعريفا للتدريب الميدان ويتناول الفصل الثاني الاتجاهات الرئيسية في تعليم الأطفال وينظم الفصل الثالث العمل داخل الروضة من حيث الروضة وتكوينها ومرافقها وفي الفصل الرابع دور ومهام المعلمة داخل وخارج الفصل والفصل الخامس طفل ما قبل الروضة من حيث خصائصه وحاجاته وطرق تقويمه في هذه المرحلة ويعتبر التدريب الميداني عنصرا أساسيا في عملية إعداد الطالبات المعلمات بأقسام رياض الأطفال وتربية الطفل حيث ترجع كفاءة الطالبة المعلمة مباشرة إلى الخبرات التي اكتسبتها خلال فترة التدريب الميداني.
