تصور المسرحية الشعرية \"غروب الأندلس\" للشاعر عزيز أباظة اختلاف الأسر الحاكمة في الأندلس وانقسامها وتعاون بعض أفرادها مع الأبسان لحماية أنفسهم، وتثبيت دعائم حكمهم، واستغراق بعضهم الآخر في الملذات، مما قاد الى سقوط الممالك المتنازعة واحدة، وكانت (غرناطة) آخرها، وقد وقع ملكها (أبو عبد الله) معاهدة ذل وخضوع على الرغم من استبسال الشعب وتضحياته لرفض ذلك كله، وتأكيد العزة والكرامة.
