Overview
تناول الكتاب الترتيبات الأمنية والسياسية والتي أقرتها حكومة حزب العمال البريطانية بعد مجيئها إلى السلطة في عام 1964 وإعلانها الانسحاب من منطقة الخليج في الثاني عشر من ديسمبر عام 1968 على أن يبدأ تنفيذه عام 1971. حيث ركزت تلك الحكومة على تنفيذ عدة خطوات، مثل:- تكوين بنية فيدرالية للإمارات، وحل بعض المشاكل الحدودية بالمنطقة، وتشجيع التفاهم الإقليمي.
