كتاب جيد يشرح فيه الكاتب أسس التفكير العلمى التنظيم وتراكمية المعرفة والدقة والتجريد وشمولية العلوم ويقينيتها والبحث فى الاسباب والتى يقسمها الكاتب إلى أسباب مادية وصورية وفاعلية وغائية وخطواته ويفحص ويقدم العلاج المناسب لكثير من معوقات التفكير العلمى ومنها السلطة التى يقصد بها سلطة العالم وسطوته فى فترة زمنية ثم يستعرض الكاتب ببساطة وسرعة لتاريخ العلم ويعرج فى النهاية على دور العالم تجاه مجتمعه وهذه إشكالية كبيرة من وجهة نظرى فلا يمكن بأى حال من الأحوال أن يقف العالم فى أى مجال دور سلبى تجاه قضية قيمية أو أخلاقية أو سياسية تخص مجتمعه لأنه فى النهاية جزء من هذا المجتمع.
