صدر عن مطبوعات مجمع اللغة العربية بدمشق ديوان «شعراء حمير» بأجزائه الثلاثة تحقيق الدكتور مقبل التام عامر الأحمدي، وقد تضمن هذا الديوان أشعار حمير من الجاهلية حتى نهاية العصر الأموي، والذين بقي من أعمارهم ظمأ قصير أدركوا به أول دولة العباس، والذين لم يستطع تحديد عصورهم، وقسم الديوان إلى أربعة أقسام، الأول أشعار الجاهليين، والثاني لأشعار المخضرمين وشعراء صدر الإسلام، والثالث لأشعار الأمويين، وبآخر كل واحد منها أشعار مجهولين، أما الرابع فكان لأشعار مجهولي العصر وبآخره أشعار مجهولي الأسماء والعصور.
