هذا الكتاب انقسم إلى ست فصول تم معالجة الفصل الأول منها نزعات العرب الفكرية ومذاهبهم الفلسفية والإسلام كقوة دافعة للأمة العربية ومميزات التراث العلمي العربي وأسلوب العرب في كتابة التراجم وعصر البيروني، وفي الفصل الثاني ترجمة حياة البيروني وأهم مؤلفات وأسلوبه الكتاب والعلمي، وتعالج الفصل الثالث والرابع والخامس والسادس على الترتيب مؤلفات البيروني الكبرى المتعلقة بموضوعات : 1. تحقيق ما للهند من مقولة مقبولة في العقل أو مرذولة، 2. رسائل البيروني : تحديد نهايات الأماكن لتصحيح مسافات المساكن،....إلخ.
