Overview
اشتمل الكتاب على أربعة فصول تناول الأول لمحة تاريخية عن روسيا عام 1853 م، أما الفصل الثاني فبحث في حرب القرم وانعكاساتها على مشروع القياصرة الروس عام 1853-1875 م، وتطرق الفصل الثالث إلى التحديات التي واجهت روسيا في تنفيذ مشروع القياصرة الروس عام 1875م، أما الفصل الأخير فتضمن التطورات التي مر بها مشروع الجامعة السلافية عام 1878-1914 م. وبينت الدكتورة نادية جاسم كاظم أن روسيا أخفقت في تحقيق مشروع الجامعة السلافية فدخلت الحرب العالمية الأولى عام 1914 لإحياء هذا المشروع من جديد لتحرير السلاف من إمبراطورية الهبسبرغ مما يمهد الفرصة لروسيا مرة أخرى في ترسيخ نفوذها السياسي في شبه جزيرة البلقان.
