بين الكاتب أن العشرين عاما الماضية كانت كفيلة في التحقق والتدقيق في تتبع المنهج الصوتي في (العين) و(الكتاب) من خلال ما كتبته من أبحاث صوتية، فضلا عن الدراسات العلمية من رسائل واطاريح صوتية التي أشرفت عليها لما لهذا المنهج من أثر عند من جاء بعده من علماء العربية لاسيما علماء التجويد، فالمتتبع لرجالات. هل الأداء سيلحظ تخبطا واضحا في طرق البحث عن الأصوات ومعالجتها برؤية الخليل أو سيبويه ؛ ولأن مادة الصوت قد تبناها رجال اللغة فكان لازما عليهم تتبع الألقاب والصفات والمخارج، فكان منهم ما كان في المزاوجة بين فكري الخليل وسيبويه وإن كانا بعيدين في المنهج والمعالجة.
