هذه الرواية .. قد استلهمت منذ سنوات مما يجري حولنا في العالم من تقدم علمي وإنجاز حضاري مفرح الى حد الذهول، ومفيد للبشرية بما لم تعرفه أبدأ من قبل .. لكنه اللون الأبيض الذي يخفي وراءه الكثير من السواد ومن الظلم .. ظلم البشر للبشر أنفسهم الذين يخضعون للتجارب كما فئران الحقول، والأرانب، فأي مصير يمكن أن ينتظر الإنسان الذي يظل إنسانا يحمل شعاعا مهما كان ضئيلا من المعرفة الأرضية، والإلهام السماوي ؟ .. إنها ثلاثية روائية تتحدث في جزئها الأول عن مدينة للأذكياء، وفي الثاني عن جزيرة للمسوخ، أما الموقف الذي يحفظ للإنسان إنسانيته فهو الجزء الأخير (الاختيار أو الانفجار)
