Overview
الاجتهاد هو فكرة هذا الكتاب، وأقصد به اجتهادات المترجمين للوصول إلى المعنى. بعض هذه الاجتهادات كان كارثيا أدى إلى مشاكل سياسية واقتصادية ؛ بل إن أحدها-كما يذكر الكثير من المؤرخين-كان سببا في إلقاء القنبلتين الأريتين على هيروشيما ونجازاكي في الحرب العالمية الثانية. (1945-1939) قد يكون المجتهد مترجما محترفا، تدعونا ترجمته للتأمل والتوقف مع براعته وقدراته اللغوية، وقد يكون مسئولا اجتهد في الترجمة، بل ويصل بنا الأمر إلى المجتهد الصغير - على وزن المخترع الصغير - وأقصد به الطالب في اختبارات الترجمة، وما تجود به قريحته من اجتهادات تستحق منا التوقف والتأمل والتدبر !!. وأعتقد أن هذا الكتاب يجمع بين شيئين: المعلومة التي سيجدها القارئ في كثير من صفحات هذا الكتاب، والطرفة التي تنبع من تلك الاجتهادات التي ما أنزل الله بها من سلطان، والتي أدت إلى كوارث في أسوأ حالاتها، وإلى ضحكة وابتسامة في أبسطها.
