جميل أن تقارب ما تقرأ وتسمع بحس ناقد، احتراما لتفرد الشعر، لأنك إذا جلوته كشفت معدنه من دون تعطيل للذوق السليم، وما تأسس عليه بعد دربة ومران، لا يضيران تلقي الشعر، والانفعال به وله، حاولت مباحث الكتاب أن تقارب بعض نماذج الشعر بأداء تطبيقي ألح على وضوح العبارة والرأي النقدي، والنأي بهما عن الغموض والتعقيد، من دون الوقوع في التبسيط المخل، قربا من المتلقي العادي، وإفادة لصاحب الاختصاص.
