في \"طلقات لا تنتهي\" يطرح نايف فاروق بحري أسئلة شغلت تلك الحقبة التاريخية، ومنها أسئلة الاستعمار والتمييز العنصري والصراع بين الغازي العثماني والمقاومين له من أبناء وطنه، فبطل الحكاية \"سبعاوي\" السعودي الأصل والأميركي الجنسية لاحقا، هاجر قسرا في الخامسة عشر من عمره من أرض الحجاز بعد مقاومته المحتل العثماني، وبعد رحلة طويلة ألقاه القدر للعمل في إحدى دول قارة أميركا الجنوبية، وهناك أصبح له أسرة ورفاقا، اجتهد ونجح ولكن هاجس الحنين إلى الوطن بقي يرافقه، إلى أن جاءت الفرصة ليعود إليه بعد سبعة وأربعين عاما مع ولديه بعد أن فقد ثالثهم، وليعيش حياة أخرى في مسقط رأسه جدة مع من تبقى من عائلته من أخوة وأبناء قبل أن يرحل إلى عالم الخلود.
