يتألف هذا الكتاب من ستة فصول تضم مجموعة من الدراسات والمقالات حول خطابات أدبية متنوعة تتمثل فيما يلي: الشعر-القصة القصيرة-الرواية-السيرة الذاتية-المقالة الأدبية-قراءات. يحتوي الفصل الأول على خمس دراسات تطبيقية لنصوص شعرية لخمسة شعراء بدأ الأولان منهم اقتحام عوالم الكتابة الشعرية منذ الخمسينيات من القرن الماضي، هما : عبد الكريم الطبال وأحمد صبري. أما أحمد بنميمون ومحمد الشيخي وأحمد تسوكي (أحرميم)، فقد بدأوا مسيرهم الشعري في أواسط الستينيات.
