جمعت في هذا الكتاب كتبا كانت قد صدرت، وفي كل واحد منها كتبت محاورات دارت مع واحد من أفراد الأسرة، عدا واحدا دار بين زوجين، وهو ((محاورات زوجية))، الذي عرضت فيه المحاورات خاطئة بين الزوجين ومعها حوارات صحيحة للمواقف نفسها. وفي ((حوار مع صديقي الزوج))، كتبت ستة حوارات مع ستة أزواج، دار كل حوار منها حول قضية من قضايا الحياة الزوجية. وفي ((حوار مع أختي الزوجة)) حوارات أخرى مع عدد من الزوجات، دار كل حوار منها حول قضية من قضايا الحياة الزوجية. أما ((حوار مع ابنتي)) فقد جمع حوارات أب مع ابنته حول قضايا عامة توضح للبنات عددا من المسائل التي غاب عنهن فهمها، أو الإحاطة به، أو إدراك حكمتها. ولقد حرصت على أن يكون أسلوب الحوار سهلا، واضحا، واقعيا، حتى يحقق غاياته في البيان والإرشاد والتوجيه.
