يتناول كتاب (التيسير في المداواة والتدبير) والذي قام بتأليفه أبي مروان عبد الملك بن زهر، موضوع (الطب) هذا الكتاب ملخص طبي عن العلاج الدوائي والغذائي ودستور الأدوية، كتبه أشهر أطباء الأندلس أبو مروان عبد الملك بن أبي العلاء زهر (توفي ١١٦٢م) الشهير بابن زهر، الذي كانت له طرقه الخاصة في علاج المرضى، وكان حجة في تشخيص المرض. حيث ذكر الكثير من الأمراض وعرض طرق المعالجة لها والأدوية اللازمة لذلك، والأدوية التي وصفها الكتاب في غالبها أدوية طبيعية، مأخوذة من الأغذية التي اعتاد الناس على تناولها واستعمالها.
