كتاب مهم يبرز لنا مؤلفه محمد بن يوسف السنوسي، الصوفي، والفقه والمنطقي والمتكلم بحلة أخرى وهي حلة الطبيب الخبير بأصناف الأمراض وأنواع الأدوية. وينصرف موضوع الرسالة إلى شرح حديثي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: المعدة بيت الداء، والحمية رأس الدواء، وأصل كل داء البردة. وقد جعلهما السنوسي حديثا واحدا. وقد اشتملت الرسالة على عدد من الأفكار والمسائل التي لا يفطن إليها إلا الحذاق من الأطباء، ولأهمية الرسالة فقد اقتبس منها العلامة ميارة محمد بن أحمد الفاسي في كتابه : مختصر الدر الثمين.
