Overview
ينطوي كل قانون طبيعي علي تناسب يتمثل في التوازن الذي يعبر عنه. وإذا كانت قوانين الطبيعة تحفظ ديمومة الكون، وتحكم تطوره، فإن لإيقاع التناسب دورا جوهريا في هذا التطور وتلك الديمومة. وينظم ايقاع التناسب كل توليفة تصوغها الطبيعة، فيرعى اتزانها، ويصون وحدتها. ولعل المنظومة الكونية، في مجملها تمثل توليفة بين خصائص المادة الكونية والقوى التي تسوسها، وفي كنف هذه التوليفة نشأت ظاهرة الحياة التي تعد أكثر تجليات الإيقاع النسبي تعقيدا وإبهارا. ويرصد هذا الكتاب جوانب من ذلك الإيقاع في أعماق المادة، والكون الرحب، والنشاط الحي.
