عازف البوق في كراكوف، هي رواية تاريخية من القرن الخامس عشر عن عائلة أوكرانية أجبرها الدمار على النزوح إلى بولندا في مدينة كراكوف وفي بولندا تأخذنا مغامراتهم عن كنز غامض ثمين تتحرك الجيوش لامتلاكه، وعن تراث بولندي بطله عازف بوق مناضل وشجاع استمات في الولاء لوطنه، وصور عن غزو التتار وأمور أخرى عن العلم والخيمياء، إن هذه الرواية التي تسلب الأذهان بوقائعها الشيقة ومغامراتها الماتعة تعطي القارئ صورة واضحة عن مجد كراكوف وحضارتها آنذاك، وهي رواية ألفها إريك فيلبروك كيلي؛ صحفي ومؤلف أمريكي تخصص في الأدب والرواية والعجيب أنه ألف هذه القصة حينما كان يعمل أستاذًا في جامعة كراكوف، وهي باكورة أعماله الروائية، وقد فازت الرواية بجائزة نيوبري في عام 1929 م.
