إصدار جديد لصاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي، عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الشارقة، وهو تفسير لبعض آيات القرآن الكريم. يتناول سموه في هذا الكتاب تفسير بعض الكلمات في سورتي قريش والبروج والفيل، ويقوم بسرد الأحداث التاريخية التي جرت في فترة ما قبل الإسلام، والتي ذكرتها الآيات الكريمة. فيتحدث في سورة قريش عن قبيلة قريش وكيف كانت لها رحلتان : في الشتاء إلى اليمن، وفي الصيف إلى بلاد الشام، ثم حصلت مجاعة وتوقفت الرحلات. أما في تفسير سورة البروج، فيتحدث سموه عما حدث للمسيحيين في اليمن حيث قام آخر ملوك حمير بفتح نجران عام 523م، وأحرق أهلها النصارى في أخدود النار. بينما يشرح في سورة الفيل كيف أن النجاشي، ملك الحبشة، قد أرسل في عام 570 م جيشا بقيادة أبرهة الأشرم لاحتلال اليمن، فتوجه أبرهة بجيش عظيم يتقدمه فيل ضخم إلى مكة، فأرسل الله طيرا أبابيل فقضى عليه، وهذه الأحداث مذكورة في سورة الفيل.
