في هذا الكتاب صور واضحة استعرضتها الكاتبة في هذا الكتاب تبين فيها الأسباب العنصرية والدينية والإجتماعية والسياسية التي أدت إلى قيام السلطات الحاكمة المتوالية بإضطهاد الأرمن وتهجيرهم من ديارهم وإبادتهم على سبيل المثال ما حصل عام 451 م حيث أبادت الدولة الفارسية الساسانية تناول الكتاب أيضا وبوصف دقيق تلك المجازر التي قام بها العثمانيون بعد هزيمتهم أمام الروس في عهد السلطان عبد الحميد الثاني.
