هذا الكتاب مقدمة لمبادئ الإقتصاد القياسي ويخص من يدرس هذا الفرع للمرة الأولى ولهذا حاولت أن يكون مشوقا للطالب ومشجعا له على مواصلة الدراسة في هذا الفرع ويتناول الكتاب في الفصلين الأول والثاني التعرف على ماهية الإقتصاد القياسي وبعض المفاهيم الإحصائية الأساسية ثم نناقش موضوع الإرتباط في الفصل الثالث ثم يتناول الكتاب في فصول من الرابع وحتى السابع موضوع الإنحدار الخطي البسيط والمتعدد أما الفصل الثامن يناقش تحليل التباين وأخيرا في الفصلين التاسع والعاشر نناقش مشاكل نماذج المعدلات الآتية وتحديد الإنحدار والعلاقات المتعددة ثم مشكلة التعرف.
