هممت بالكتابة عن قامة من قامات سامقة في النضال الليبي من أجل الإنسان وأن يحيا حرا في وطنه، كنت أعرف أن هذا الرجل اليساري لا يحده حد، وأنه في حجم العالم وحجم قبضة يد تحت الثدي الأيسر عامرة بالمحبة للبشر كافة هممت لكن وجدتني أقف متأملا إنسانا في قدر \"نوري الكيخيا\" الذي خاط الأرض بأرجل واثقة وعقل متفتح بحثا عن خلاص البشر من القيود التي تصرع أحلامهم، مثله يبحث في العالم عن وطن وفي وطنه عن العالم، مثله لا يشده الواقع عن الحلم ولا بعد الحلم عن أن يمخر الطريق وأن طال والزاد قل، يعارك بكل نفس ويفكر بكل عقل ويعقل ما يفعل، ويدق الأبواب بكلِ يد مضرجة شاهدا على الرفاق من مشانق البغي والعسف تعلق عليها أنفسهم السامقة في الميادين.
