يرصد سيرة ذاتية للمؤلف في معايشته لأحداث فلسطين منذ النكبة وتنقله إلى عمان وفي عدد من الأقطار العربية، في شقيها الشخصي الأسري والعمل السياسي والعمل العام والاغتراب. ويسترجع المؤلف ذكريات الحقبة السياسية والعمل السياسي لوالده الذي كان نائبا في مجلس النواب الأردني ثم وزيرا للزراعة في حكومة سليمان النابلسي. وقال المؤلف في كتابه \"الحياة هي رحلة ومسيرة وتختلف في خطاها ودروبها بين شخص واخر، وبعضها مسير وبعضها مخير، يتخللها الكثير من المواقف والقرارات، ليس من العار ان نرتكب اخطاء في قراراتنا والحكيم من يعترف بخطئه يصححها ويتعلم منها ولكن العار أن نكون دون مواقف\".
