هذا الكتاب به يتناول الدكتور حسين الجزائري محطات مهمة في مسيرة حياته العلمية والعملية إبتداء من مولده في مكة المكرمة مرورا بأكثر من خمسين سنة قضاها في حقل التعليم الطبي والصحة العامة فهو من أوائل السعوديين المنخرطين في كلية طب القصر العيني جامعة القاهرة ثم كان أول طبيب سعودي يحصل على زمالة كلية الجراحين الملكية في لندن ليعود إلى بلاه ليزاول مهنة الطب مبديا مهارة وتفوقا وعلميا وإداريا ليسند إليه ملف تأسيس أول كلية طب في السعودية عام 1969م ويتولى عمادتها فهو العديد المؤسس لكلية طب جامعة الملك سعود.
