يتناول هذا الكتاب الرؤية الشعرية وشكلها التعبيري في شعر هلال الحجري ويصف بنية النصوص الشعرية والتأكيد على العلاقة الوثيقة بين معنى النص الشعري ومبناه وقد تناول الفصل الأول من الكتاب تجليات الاغتراب في المدونة الشعرية المدروسة والأبعاد النفسية لذلك الاغتراب مع محاولة تبيان وجوه ودلالات الاغتراب التي اشتملت عليها النصوص المدروسة والفصل الثاني : تناول مدى تجسيد التشكيل الشعري للرؤية الشعرية وأثر ذلك على لغة الشاعر وفنية خطابه الشعري مع تسليط الضوء على أبرز الظواهر الأسلوبية التي ساهمت في تأكيد دلالات رؤية الشاعر وأبعادها النفسية وتضافر تلكم الظواهر مع عناصر النص وبناه لإنتاج خطاب شعري جديد.
