تدور أحداث المسرحية ان هناك (بساط من العشب المحروق یرتفع عند مركزه في شكل تل. منحدرات خفیفة عن یمین خشبة المسرح وشمالھا، وكذا في مقدمتھا، وفي الخلف -على مستوى المشھد- منخفض أشد إنحدارا، وینبغي إعتماد أقصى درجة ممكنة من البساطة والتناسق (التماثل). ضوء یعمي الأبصار. لوحة في الخلفیة للإبھام البصري (واضح فیھا الإدعاء والتكلف)، تمثل إمتداد سماء خالیة من الغیوم وسھلا عاریا، والتقاءھما في البعید. ویني، مدفونة حتى خصرھا في التل، في مركزه تحدیدا، في الخمسین من عمرھا، بھا أثر من جمال. ضل أن تكون شقراء، ممتلئة الجسم، عاریة الذراعین والكتفین، ترتدي صدارا مكشوفا جدا، صدرھا ممتلئ، وتضع عقدا من اللؤلؤ. تنام واضعة ذراعیھا على التل، ورأسھا على ذراعیھا، بجانبھا، عن شمالھا كیس أسود كبیر، من صنف أكیاس التسوق (قفة)... إلخ.
