يتناول كتاب (عبد العزيز المقالح وتأصيل النقد الأدبي الحديث في اليمن) والذي قام بتأليفه د. ثابت محمد بداري في حوالي (94) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (عبد العزيز المقالح وتأصيل النقد الأدبي الحديث) الكتاب بحث يتناول دور عبد العزيز المقالح في تأصيل النقد الأدبي الحديث. وقد قسم الباحث دراسته إلى ثلاثة فصول يسبقها تمهيد وتتلوها خاتمة، وفي التمهيد سعى الباحث إلى تقديم صورة مكثفة عن المقالح وطبيعة رؤيته النقدية فكان أن شطر التمهيد إلى محورين : الأول، تناول السيرة الذاتية ومكونات الرؤية النقدية، وقارب المحور الثاني، منهج الناقد وموقفه من نقد الشعراء وعلاقة النقد بالإبداع، أعقب ذلك ببليوجرافيا بالمؤلفات النقدية والفكرية للمقالح حسب تاريخ صدورها.
