هذا الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا هو أحد الكتب الإسماعيلية السليمانية التي نهبت من قبل العثمانيين الأتراك أثناء وجودهم في اليمن وفي فترة إستيلائهم عليها وكان ذلك في عام 1289هـ حيث أنهم قاموا بحملة عسكرية إلى حراز وهاجموا الداعي السليماني آنذاك حسن إسماعيل شبام في حصن عتاره واستولوا على الحصن ونهبوا كل ما فيه ومن ضمن ما نهبوه منه كانت مكتبة الدعوة السليمانية كاملة والتي كانت تزخر بالمخطوطات والمؤلفات النادرة لدعاة المذهب وحدوده والتي تقدر بالمئات.
