يركز الكتاب على الأحداث التي وقعت في ليبيا وعلاقتها بما جرى في تونس ومصر واليمن والبحرين والسعودية وكيف هيأت القوى الأطلسية نفسها وحلفاءها لبدء معركة سياسية واقتصادية ودبلوماسية وحتى عسكرية لضمان خروج الأحداث في تلك الدول بما ينسجم والركائز الأربع المذكورة أعلاه وكيف أن هذه القوى كانت منتقدة لبعض الدول ومتماهية مع البعض الآخر وينتقد الكتاب بشدة الخروقات الفاضحة التي قامت بها القوى الأطلسية لقراري مجلس الأمن 1970 و 1973 حول ليبيا وخروقاتها لحقوق الإنسان كما يتعرض بالنقد الشديد للأمم المتحدة والوكالات والمنظمات التابعة لها وكذلك المنظمات التي تعمل خارج إطارها على سياسة ازدواجية المعايير التي مارستها خلال تلك الأحداث.
