هذا الكتاب \"معارك الحرية في سورية\" يتضمن تفاصيل كثيرة منها الموعد الذي كان حدد له للقاء العقيد الركن عدنان المالكي ظهر يوم 23/3/1955 اليوم نفسه الذي اغتيل فيه المالكي وذلك بعد أن كان عينه في مجلة \"الجندي العربي\" قبل يومين إذ وجد أنها ستكون فرصة ليشرح له ويشكوه بأنه لم يرفع رتبة عسكرية منذ سنة ونصف ولكنه وفي الموعد المحدد للقائه بالمالكي ويتضمن الكتاب مجموعة قصص وأحاديث وذكريات في مختلف المواقع وخلال تأديته شتى المهام الموكلة إليه.
