يتحدث الكتاب عن آلة الأورج وهي آلة موسيقية ذات لوحة مفاتيح شبيهه بآلة البيانو ويتم خروج الأصوات في الأورج الكهربائي عن طريق دائرات إلكترونية وتم صنع أول أورج كهربائي في عام 1935 على يد الأمريكي (لورانس هاموند) الذي استخدم دائرات كهربائية ومضخات لإنتاج الصوت والنغمات وتضخيمها، يصنع الجسم الخارجي للأورج الكهربائي من البلاستيك والخشب والمعدن ويمكن إنتاج مجال أصوات واسع جدا بواسطة هذه الآلة كما أستخدم الأورج الكهربائي بشكل كبير من قبل فرق الروك في الستينات وما بعدها ويوضح الكتاب أنواعه والطبقات الصوتية التي يشتمل عليها والقواعد الأولية للعزف مع بعض النوت الموسيقية المبسطة.
