تناول الكاتب كيراكوس (كارو) قيومجيان 100 عام من الإبادة إلى السيادة سبل المحافظة على الهوية الأرمنية، مستذكرا المذبحة المأساوية التي تعرض لها الشعب الأرمني في خضم الحرب العالمية الأولى وينتقد قيومجيان في مقال \"لن تنجح تركيا بالاستحواذ على التاريخ الأرمني\"، أفعال الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان، ويقول مبادرة انتهازية جديدة أعلنها الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان تجاوز فيها كل الأعراف السياسية والديبلوماسية والإنسانية والأخلاقية، حين وجه دعوة الى زعماء العالم لحضور نشاطات الذكرى المئوية لحرب غاليبولي (دردنيل) في 24 أبريل، في تزامن مفتعل مع إحياء الدولة الأرمينية \"الذكرى المئوية لإبادة الأرمن\" في اليوم نفسه.
