This experiment conducted using 20 Rahmani ewes at the last third of pregnancy in two equal groups. One group served as control, while the other group received Spirulina platensis (SP) at the rate of 0.5 gm 10 kg-1 live body weight. The objective was to find out the effect of adding Spirulina platensis algae to small ruminant rations on reproductive and productive traits and blood components of sheep. The experiments lasted for 120 days for both dams and their lambs after weaning. The findings proved that adding SP in ewes' diets had no effect on the average of live body weight change. Average milk yield was significantly (p <0.01) higher in the treatment group than the control. Lamb's birth weight and daily body gain of the treated group were significantly (p <0.01) higher than the control. Blood and serum picture profile of ewes were significantly higher when fed SP additive than the control. It could be concluded that the addition of SP to the ration of sheep positively preserved their health, productive and reproductive status as well as their lambs' growth rate. Also the additive improved the economic efficiency of treated animals by about 53.13%.

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: THE STUDY OF CUSTOMER PERSPECTIVES ON RETAIL BANKS IN INDIA
2014
The application of CRM techniques using advanced software and application of analytical techniques have changed the way business is done in financial services especially the banking sector. Some specific factors that have led to an explosive growth in technology in India and adoption of such technology by Indian banks are increased competition, advent of cutting edge technology, competition aggressively adopting them, penetration of internet and the realization that technology adoption is cost effective in the long run. However, inspite of significant progress, much more still remains to be done in order to improve the understanding of CRM and its relevance to customer satisfaction. The challenge for retail bank managers and relationship supervisors is to understand what customers want. This paper aims to study the best practices of CRM in three leading banks in India and to find out the effectiveness of CRM with reference to customers. In today's situation, Indian retail banks can stay competitive only by building lifelong partnerships with customers. CRM can be employed to develop an ongoing dialog with customers, integrated across all contact points. The findings reflect the need for banks to effectively use CRM practices for customer analytics. Beyond the Classroom: Integrating the ORID Model for In-Depth Reflection and Assessment in Service-Learning
2024
Service-learning is a community-based learning approach that bridges academic knowledge with practical application through purposeful exploration, action, and reflection. In addition to enhancing academic learning in various disciplines, service-learning cultivates students’ self-awareness, personal values, and social responsibility, preparing them with essential skills for life beyond the classroom. However, due to its experiential nature, service-learning presents challenges for effective assessment. This study provides a concrete example of student reflections structured by the Objective, Reflective, Interpretive, and Decisional (ORID) model in practice. Content analysis was implemented by examining undergraduate students’ end-of-semester reflection papers while volunteering during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The results showed that the model provided a guided and structured format for students to reflect on their service-learning, going beyond reporting on factual details to engaging in profound reflections on the emotional, cognitive, and prospective aspects. Moreover, with the solution aspect added to the model, students could express their creativity, articulating on innovative solutions they proposed to overcome challenges and how they turned the challenges into favorable outcomes. Clearly, the model stands as a powerful tool for educators, offering deeper insights into students’ authentic experiences, fostering comprehensive, critical, and insightful reflection, and thereby facilitating the effective assessment of experiential learning.
