El estatus del hombre y el estatus de sus objetos: una lectura de «La condición humana»
2018
Presentamos la versión española del texto “The Status of Man and the Status of His Objects: A Reading of The Human Condition” publicado originalmente en 1979 y recogido en la colección de ensayos titulada Labour, Work and Architecture.

Kengo Kuma : complete works
The quintessential Japanese architect of today, Kengo Kuma has forged a modern design language that artfully combines the country's traditional building crafts with sophisticated technologies and materials. From his iconic Glass House (1995) to Dundee's V&A (2018), this is the complete record of Kuma's built work, comprising thirty projects to date. Kenneth Frampton's revised and updated essay frames Kuma's work in the context of post-war Japan's flourishing architecture scene and influential figures, and recounts the international acclaim that Kuma's ideas and buildings have received. The heart of the book consists of projects presented in detail, accompanied by descriptive text and detailed drawings, and organized by the material themes that have come to define the architect's output. This new edition includes five new projects: Komatsu Seiren Fabric Laboratory fa-bo, Under One Roof project for the EPFL ArtLab, Japan House Sao Paulo, China Academy of Art's Folk Art Museum, and the V&A Dundee.
Books : review : \Modern architecture : representation and reality\
2012
Reviews \"Modern architecture : representation and reality,\" by Neil Levine (Yale University Press, 2010). This book is a compilation of Neil Levine's Slade Lectures in Fine Art given at the University of Cambridge in the academic year 1994-95. It is to some extent a recasting of the received history of Euro-American architecture in the 19th and 20th centuries. Comprising eight chapters plus an introduction and a conclusion, this sub-titular opposition between reality and representation becomes qualified in the course of lectures by a number of other loaded terms, including: appearance, truth, abstraction, history, and imitation, all of which serve to articulate in different ways the discrimination between representation and reality in the evolution of modern architecture. Evolution of a retail streetscape : DP Architects on Orchard Road
Singapore's Orchard Road sits alongside New York's Fifth Avenue and Paris' Champs Elysees in the pantheon of prestigious retail districts. For more than 40 years, DP Architects has contributed to the development of Orchard Road's architectural typography, the regionalism of which is flavoured with a uniqueness born of inventiveness and an accommodation of contextual forces. 'The Orchard Road Experience' is much more than simply a lush visual and textual narrative showcasing DP Architects' extensive contribution to the character, growth and personality of the famous Singapore shopping and entertainment precinct. It also explores the concept of retail architectural typology generally, provides a brief contextual history of Singapore from British colonisation onwards, outlines the development and evolution of Orchard Road in particular, and explores some of the world's other famous shopping streets.
