Artificial Intelligence's Impact on Higher Education Quality

Augmented Reality in Higher Education
The paper presents a novel experiment in Palestinian higher education that uses augmented reality technology. The study employs qualitative methods. Methods: The experiment was carried out on 15 students enrolled in microwave engineering course at An-Najah National University's telecommunication engineering department. With the research sample, semi-structured interviews and surveys were conducted, and the obtained data was analysed using theme coding. Findings: The qualitative analysis and thematic coding produce seven major topics, including benefits, future hope, challenges, reflections, initial impression, attitudes, and prior experience. The highest frequency was for benefits with 34.6% and the lowest frequency was for prior experience with 6.3%.

يسعدنا أن نقدم للقراء الكرام هذا الإصدار الجديد فى الشأن التربوي للدكتور مصدق الجليدي الذى يتألف من دراستين : الدراسة الأولى : النظام التربوي التونسي : جدلية الأصيل والوافد. والدراسة الثانية : النظم التربوية المغاربية التقاطعات والفروق وإمكانات التكامل. وقد سعى الدكتور مصدق، فى الدراسة الأولى من كتابه، للنظر معمقا فى توجهات النظام التربوي واختياراته عبر العصور، من العهدين الروماني والعربي الإسلامي إلى الفترة المعاصرة خلال الحقبتين الاستعمارية والوطنية، محاولا تقويم تلك التوجهات تقويما موضوعيا، منظورا إليها في سياق جدلية الأصيل والوافد». وقد أثرى الدكتور مصدق محتوى الكتاب بدراسته الثانية، التي أجرى فيها مقارنة متعددة الجوانب بين الأنظمة التربوية فى بلدان المغرب العربي الثلاثة : تونس والجزائر والمغرب. وقد التزم الباحث فى مقارنته تلك الكثير من الرصانة والحياد العلمي، بحيث أبرز نقاط القوة ونقاط الضعف فى كل من الأنظمة التربوية المعنية بقدر مهم من الحرفية. ثم تجاوز مرحلة التشخيص إلى تقديم المقترحات التي يراها باعتباره خبيرا تربويا وطنيا ملتزما بقضايا التربية فى منطقته العربية عامة والمغاربية خاصة.

Perception of Nigerian Open and Distance Learning Students on the Use of Instructional Technologies for Pedagogic Experience
This study aimed at determining the perceptions of distance learning students of the availability, accessibility, usefulness and influence of instructional technologies for acquiring pedagogic experience at Ogbomoso, Osogbo and Ilorin, Nigeria. The study was descriptive of cross-sectional survey type and used a researchers-designed questionnaire to collect data. A total of 397 undergraduate students were randomly sampled from six faculties in the sampled study centers. Four research questions were raised, answered and analyzed using frequency counts and percentages. The results showed that instructional technologies were not sufficiently available and accessible to the students at study centers for the acquisition of pedagogic experiences. The findings revealed that students displayed a good level of interest in experiential learning using the available instructional technologies due to a high perception of usefulness of instructional technologies for learning. However, inadequacy of the instructional technologies was a constraint towards access and adequacy of their utilization by the students. It was recommended that government and non-governmental organizations should work to procure adequate instructional technologies that would facilitate easy access to pedagogical experiences.

ESP Undergraduates Students' Perception towards E-Learning during COVID-19
The study focuses on describing the ESP undergraduates' students' perception towards the use of E- learning during the covid-19pandemic. A descriptive quantitative design method was conducted in this study. The sample of this study was (331) undergraduates students at Al-Nahrain University in the college of political science. The instrument of this study was a structured questionnaire consisted of two parts. The first Part collecting personal information of students,, and the second part a questionnaire which consists of 17 items disrupted into five main domains (Use of E-Learning, Approach to e-learning, Self-Efficacy of Using E-learning, Benefits of using E-learning and Behavioral Purposes of Using E-learning) by using a 4- points likert scale was send to the participates through e-mail.. The result of the study showed that the ESP undergraduates' students' perception towards using e-learning has a positive impact.

يتميز التعليم بالتغيير والتطوير المستمر في أساليبه وطل بما يلبي حاجات الطلاب وميولهم التعليمية، ونظرا لأن التعليم التقليدي أصبح لا يتناسب مع الجيل الحالي نتيجة التطور التكنولوجي الذي يعيشه العصر الحال ؛ فكان لزاما دمج هذه التكنولوجيا في العملية التعليمية، حيث أصبح هناك اتجاه متزايد نحو استخدام الحاسب الآلي والهواتف النقالة الذكية ؛ الأمر الذي أثر بشكل مباشر على العملية التعلمية وأدى إلى إحداث تحولا جذريا في أساليب وأنماط واستراتيجيات التعليم والتعلم ؛ لتقدم محتوى تعليمي غني بعناصر سمعية وبصرية ثابتة ومتحركة ؛ وهو ما جعل عملية التعليم والتعلم شيقة وممتعة ويعتبر التعلم الإلكتروني المدمج مثالا للابتكار التعليمي الذي يضمن الاستثمار الأمثل للوقت والجهد، حيث يجمع بين كل من مميزات التعليم التقليدي والإلكتروني، فهو نموذج تربوي يرمي إلى استخدام التقنيات الحديثة وشبكة الإنترنت بالإضافة إلى استغلال مميزات الطريقة التقليدية في التعليم.

A Study of Students' Acceptance of E-Learning Applications in English Language Education
Due to the ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic, several university students may find themselves unable to engage in conventional English language learning in a physical classroom setting. The imposition of online English instruction compromised the efficacy and outcomes of students' English learning. Therefore, there is a need for a diverse range of technology, media, and platforms to enhance their educational achievements. Using mobile devices and wireless networks to interact with other devices may improve the effectiveness of online English learning for students. To investigate university students' learning behaviors and attitudes, when using e-learning to study English, the current study aimed to assess curiosity, self-efficacy, equipment, experience, perceived ease of use, perceived utility, attitude towards using e-learning resources for English language acquisition, and the actual use of those technologies. This study used questionnaires sent to 4 universities, resulting in a total of 751 valid surveys. This research used Smart-PLS 4.0 to analyze the structural model and validate the hypotheses. The hypothesis testing findings revealed that attitude is the most influential factor in determining the adoption of e-learning for English language acquisition. Both results indicate that variables in the TAM (ease of use and usefulness) have a significant impact on e-learning use outcomes. Likewise, interest, self-efficacy, equipment, and experience factors are influencing e-learning use. In this regard, the research outcome provides rich theoretical understanding and immense practical explanatory power in language acquisition.
