Estimating Economic Returns to Education in Sudan
This study estimates economic returns to schooling and labor market participation using household survey data from Sudan. Returns to men primary education are found to be higher than those to intermediate and secondary education, but - contrary to observed world patterns- are still lower than returns to tertiary education. Rates or return for primary and college education for men were estimated at 10.4 % and 16.6 %, respectively. These findings lend support to the policy of expansion of higher-level education. For women returns to primary education are higher than those to intermediate, secondary, and tertiary education. Rates or return for primary and college education for women were estimated at 33.3 % and 22.5 %, respectively. This suggests expansion and quality investment in basic education for females. Overall, average returns for women are larger than those for men.

This study focuses on the pre education school in which the children participate since their earlier childhood. This period of time is considered the most sensitive according to the children, because it affects the individual personality in the future. There are three dimensions, regarding the pre- education school. First, the law dimension which includes the way of registration, the acceptance, supporting and the license for the pre education school institutions. Second, the materialistic dimension, which represents these institutions according to its location, size, the buildings and its furniture that's suit the children. Third, the human dimension, which includes the pre education \"head master' and her qualifications. Also, the supervisor and her characteristics which represent the essential factor for scoring the prepared experienced syllable. The role of the supervisor is important, because in this period of time the children can a quire knowledge, and experiences through the observation and imitation. Lastly, the researcher prepared aprepryal for program for training the qualifying workers in this stage. Also, the researcher designed aself- assessment form for the pre education school supervisors.
التربية في السودان والأسس النفسية والاجتماعية التي قامت عليها
يتحدث هذا الكتاب عن موضوع التربية في السودان منذ القرن السادس عشر اللى نهاية القرن التاسع عشر والأسس النفسية والاجتماعية التي قامت عليها والسبب في تحديد مبدأ البحث بالقرن السادس عشر وما أمتاز به هذا القرن من طابع خاص وهو ظهور الدولة العربية في السودان الإسلامي وسودان وادي النيل وأعني بهذه الدول سلطنة دار فور وكردفانو مملكة الفونج بجزيرة سنار وما خضع لها من مشيخات تلك المملكة.
القضية الفلسطينية في مناهج التعليم قبل الجامعي بالسودان ومدى إلمام الطلاب والأساتذة بها : دراسة حالة في ولاية غرب كردفان
تناول الباحث في هذه الدراسة القضية الفلسطينية في مناهج التعليم قبل الجامعي في السودان، بهدف الكشف عن مدي اهتمام المناهج بهذه القضية المحورية بالنسبة لهذه الأمة، وناقش ثقافة الطلاب والمعلمين وتفاعلهم بهذه القضية، مستخدما المنهج التاريخي، والمنهج التحليلي الوصفي، كما استخدم الاستبانة والمقابلة كأدوات لجمع معلومات هذه الدراسة، وقد توصل الباحث لعدة نتائج أهمها: محتوى المناهج من هذه القضية ضئيل ولا يتناسب مع أهميتها، كما أن ثقافة الطالب والأستاذ بها ليست بحجمها، ولكن تفاعلهم بها، لا بأس به، وقدمت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات أهمها: أن تكون هذه القضية حاضرة في عمق المنهج مثل ما أنها حاضرة في عمق شعبها، أن تكرس الجهود التربوية لغرس هذه القضية ليست باعتبارها قضية فلسطينية بل قضية الأمة الإسلامية والعربية؛ ليشب الأبناء على هذا النهج.
