This narrative not only presents a realistic and socially conscious perspective but also critically examines various societal and humanitarian concerns, notably the complexities of the conflict between different moralities, genders, and other dichotomies. These intricacies are seamlessly interwoven into the narrative, drawing inspiration from Western literary models, as evident in the selection of character names, settings, and the portrayal of eerie realms that mirror the darker aspects of the human psyche. This study acknowledges the innovative approach adopted by the storytellers, as it facilitates a dynamic avenue for the exploration of new imaginative realms, inviting both the writer and the reader to unravel the underlying visions and ideologies embedded within. the narrative.

This study investigates young adult and children's literature through examining Lois Lowry's dystopian science fiction novel, The Giver, to explore the transformational journey of the protagonist, Jonas. Following Joseph Campbell's \"The Hero's Journey,\" Jonas evolves from an ordinary child to the Receiver of Memory in a seemingly utopian yet technologically advanced society. The central concept is the child as a hero archetype, where Jonas, despite his youth, displays immense bravery and determination in questioning authority figures and seeking truth. The study raises concerns about young individuals' agency in controlling their destinies amid significant obstacles. The research also explores Jonas's psychological development, drawing inspiration from Carl Jung's individuation process, whereas Jonas' internal conflict reflects the process, characterized by integrating elements of the Self. The study aims at answering the following questions: How does Jonas, as a juvenile hero, navigates challenges in his transformative journey? In what ways is the hero archetype employed to shape Jonas' identity as a saviour? To what extent does Jonas' internal conflict align with Carl Jung's individuation process? How does the integration of the hero's journey and individuation process empower young readers to recognize their potential for change? The study concludes that this narrative structure empowers young readers, allowing them to recognize their potential as agents of change and heroes in their own destinies.

Samuel Delany's Stars in my Pocket Like Grains of Sand (1984) challenges questionable conceptions of knowledge and their limits/limitations. Theoretical study of this text has focused on considering issues of race and identity in relation to the science-fiction genre. This paper explores Delany's text from a surveillance studies perspective to analyze how surveillance, as a technological tool of power, functions in it. According to Foucault the disciplinary bent of society limits freedom. This is why tracing surveillance techniques in relation to knowledge as well as subjects/objects on Velm (an SF world in the novel) uncovers the limitations of seemingly liberal societies, who are disciplinary societies that put their power into practice through surveillance.

يتناول هذا البحث رواية الخيال العلمي في الألفية الجديدة من خلال نموذج رواية عمار المصري \"أطلانتس\"، بجزئيها\" ظلال أطلانتس وعرش أطلانتس. والهدف الذي تسعى إليه الدراسة هو بحث مدى توظيف العلم في تشكيل خيال الرواية وتأثيره على بنية الرواية وعناصرها الفنية. وقد اعتمد البحث على مفاهيم ومقولات السرد الأدبي لتتبع التشكيل الفني في الرواية، وبناء على ذلك يتكون هذا البحث من مقدمة وتمهيد وثلاثة مباحث استعرض التمهيد تاريخ موجز لرواية الخيال العلمي في البيئتين العربية والأجنبية، مع الإشارة إلى أبرز خصائصها الفنية وعلاقتها برواية الشباب في الألفية الجديدة. وتم تخصيص المبحث الأول لعرض الفكرة العامة للرواية موضوع التحليل مع التركيز على حبكة الرواية ومعالم حدودها السردية. في حين تم تخصيص المبحث الثاني لبحث بناء الرواية من جهة منظور السرد وعلاقته ببناء الشخصيات والمكان والزمان، وعلاقة هذا كله بتوسيع حدود السرد ومظاهره. أما المبحث الثالث: فقد خصص لبحث مدى توظيف الخيال العلمي في هذه الرواية، مع التركيز على ما يتركه هذا التوظيف من تأثيرات تتعلق بالزمان واستدعاء أنواع مختلفة من الروايات وتوظيفها في بنية الرواية. وقد تم بيان التأثير الواضح لتاريخ الخيال العلمي في الروايتين العربية والعالمية، كما بينت تأثير الثقافة المعاصرة لهذا الخيال من خلال السينما، على النحو الذي ظهر في قصة الرواية وحبكتها، وامتد بتأثيره إلى لغة الراوية وشخصياتها وبنيتيها الزمانية والمكانية.

In recent years, a large number of books and articles on William Golding have been published, in which various aspects of his works and the stories told in them are analyzed. Many of these studies focus on extra literary aspects, or delve into only some elements of the plots of this author's novels, the issues that are treated, or their social impact. These studies can be of great interest and add a relevant perspective to understanding the novels of William Golding. However, to have a global vision of the work of this author, it is necessary to analyze the most literary aspects of Golding's writings in detail. In this research, we will study how William Golding used language, some of the most frequent resources, and the strategies he employed to provoke different effects on readers through the choice of certain words and syntactic structures.

إن الرواية تنشئ عالما متخيلا مغايرا لعالمنا الحقيقي ولا يعكس البتة ما يوجد في واقعنا اليومي. ولكنها لا تنفك تمارس على القارئ المؤول شتى أنواع الإيهام والمغالطة، لكونها تجعله في شبه يقين بأنه يواجه عالما حقيقيا لا يبعد عن معيشه. هو ذا ما يسمى بوهم المرجع أو الكتاب المضللة. ومهما يكن الروائي قد استقى من المرجع مادة أولية خاما، فإن ذلك لا يعني التطابق مع الحقيقي. التحليق نحو عالم جمالي حالم تخييلي ومدار المداخلة إجراء على رواية \"حيا أو ميتا\" للجامعي والروائي محمد الصالح البوعمراني بطلها عمار بن العربي الهمامي يروي مسيرته الطلابية والسياسية والعاطفية. وإشكالية المقال هي: إلى أي مدى ينفلت النص من حدود المرجعي الحقيقي؟ وما مظاهر غلبة التخييلي؟ وما هي العوالم التخييلية التي ينشئها؟ وأما رهانه فهو البرهنة على غلبة التخييلي في تشكيل الكون الروائي راويا ومرويا وشخصيات وفضاء روائيا رغم الانطلاق من الواقع لمرجعي؟

L'objectif de cet article est de rendre compte de l'envergure de la fiction théâtralisée par rapport à celle présentée sur le grand écran. Nous adoptons une approche comparative de ces deux types d'art afin de souligner la singularité de chacun. Dans la suite de l'étude, nous prenons le parti du théâtre dans le but de l'explorer en examinant ses spécificités, ses origines, son évolution et ses tropes. Puis, nous examinons deux pièces majeures issues de périodes différentes, Les Chaises d'Eugène Ionesco et Hilda de Marie Ndiaye, afin de mieux cerner le cheminement progressif de la fiction théâtralisée. Dans ce projet d'analyse méthodique, nous essayons d'éclaircir les ressemblances et les dissemblances de l'interprétation symbolique de chacune afin de prouver la déconstruction de la réalité et de la logique. En manipulant l'espace, l'éclairage, les costumes, les protagonistes, le discours, le rythme et la musique, les réalisateurs transposent le sens des oeuvres fictionnelles, créant une expérience théâtrale immersive et unique qui provoque une gamme de réponses émotionnelles et intellectuelles. Enfin, nous concluons qu'en intégrant des méditations sur la condition humaine, en exploitant les mondes oniriques, en innovant incessamment et en fouillant dans de nouvelles voies, ce genre contribue à éveiller les réflexions sur les débats sociaux et à investiguer les dilemmes moraux qui en résultent.

من ظواهر النقد المهمة في هذا العصر، ظاهرة تطور الأجناس الأدبية، وتداخلها، إذ عبر مسيرة النقد المديدة، ضعفت دعوات التمسك بقواعد الجنس الأدبي، بعد أن أيقن الأدباء، والنقاد، أن الإبداع الأدبي لا يمكن أن يقيد، أو أن تحده الحدود؛ لذا انفتحت الأجناس الأدبية على بعضها، وتداخلت (الرواية) تحديدا مع سائر الفنون الأخرى، من شعر، ومسرح، وسينما، وغير ذلك، بصفتها جنسا توسعيا، يهيمن على كل ما يجاوره من أجناس، ويضمه إلى حيزه وفضائه، ولا سيما بشكل أكبر مع جنس (المسرح)، الذي نهلت من فيض أدواته الكثير، لتشكيل آليات بناء المشهد السردي، وتكويناته، وإنتاجه، ورسم كل ما يتعلق بتفصيلات فضائه. وقد اخترنا لدراستنا، رواية (الحدود البرية) للكاتبة العراقية (ميسلون هادي)، الصادرة عام ٢٠٠٤؛ لكونها أنموذجا بنائيا، اعتمد أدوات المسرح، للكشف بشكل مشهدي ممسرح عن الشخصيات، ونفسياتها المأزومة، وهويتها الضائعة، فتواءمت الأحداث فيها مع أنماط الشخصيات، وتواءم بناء السرد وآليات تشكيل المشهد مع واقع الرواية التخيلي، فبدأ الاضطراب في أدق تفاصيلها متجليا بوضوح، بدءا من الكلمات، ومرورا بالخطاب النصي، وانتهاء بالفضاء الروائي، بشخصياته المضطربة، وأماكنه وأزمنته المتشظية، التي تداخل الوهم فيها والتبس مع الحقيقة. وما ساهم في الكشف عن (تشظي فضاء السرد)، هو اكتساب هذا (الفضاء) سمة (المسرحة)، لاعتماد الرواية في تقديم السرد، وعرض الأحداث المضطربة، والكشف عن الشخصيات المأزومة، عناصر عدة، منها: الحوار المتبادل بين الشخصيات، وسرد الشخصيات نفسها بضمير المتكلم، فضلا عن سرد الراوي (ذي المعرفة الكلية متعدد الانتقاءات) (multiple selective omniscience)، الذي اختار الغياب لصالح أصوات شخصياته، فقدم الحكاية عبر وعي الشخصيات، وذاكرتها ورؤاها، بشكل جعل أحداثها تبدو كأنها تجري الآن أمام المتلقي، لتطابق زمني الحكاية والسرد؛ فكان لكل هذا دوره المؤثر في بناء المشهد السردي، وتحقيق المسرحة والإرادة، التي ساهمت بوضوح في الكشف عن تشظي عالم الرواية وتداخله.
