دور الابتكار في التحكم في استهلاك الطاقة
نظراً لاستحواذ قطاع السيارات على نسبة كبيرة من استهلاك الطاقة، فقد زاد استخدام التكنولوجيا في قطاع السيارات لابتكار تقنيات تتحكم في الطاقة المستهلكة. لذلك فقد اهتمت الدراسة بالدور الذي يلعبه الابتكار في التحكم في استدامة استهلاك الطاقة في ذلك القطاع من خلال زيادة كفاءة استهلاك الطاقة، وقد طبقت ذلك على الولايات المتحدة باعتبارها طليعة الحدود التكنولوجية، خلال الفترة من 1995 حتى 2019. وكان هدف الدراسة عرض المشكلة بشكل تحليلي، تم قياس هذا الدور باستخدام منهج اختبار الحدود The Bounds Testing Approach والمبنى على استخدام الانحدار الذاتي لفترات الإبطاء الموزعة (ARDL) وجاءت نتائج الدراسة تؤكد دور الابتكار في التحكم في استهلاك الطاقة في قطاع السيارات في الولايات المتحدة في الأجلين القصير والطويل.
Loss Minimization and Voltage Enhancement through DGS Sizing and Locations Considering TCA and Network Reconfiguration during Load-Variation
Distribution Network Reconfiguration (DNR) is the most popular technique used to minimize power loss. However, applying the reconfiguration method alone will reduce power loss up to a specific value. Furthermore, Distributed Generation (DG) optimal sizing would also reduce power loss. However, a combined reconfiguration process with DG optimal sizing at an un-optimal location may raise power loss and voltage variation. So, it is important to evolve an efficient optimization method that determines the DG optimal sizing and optimal location and ensures optimal configuration at the same time. This work presents a new methodology that aims to find the best simultaneous solution that encompasses the optimal network reconfiguration and optimal DG Location and Sizing (DG_LS) beside the optimal value of the Tap Changer Alteration (TCA). In addition, the impact of load variation on network reconfiguration is also studied. Power loss reduction and overall voltage profile improvement using the firefly optimization technique are the aims of the presented methodology. Different scenarios were considered to examine the validity of the presented methodology. The output results confirm the validation of the proposed strategy to find the optimal simultaneous system configuration, the optimal generation output and location of units of DG, and the optimal tap changer alteration. In terms of active power and reactive losses, reductions in the test system of 74.53% and 71.26%, respectively, were achieved through scenario 5, evidencing the positive impact of the proposed methodology on distribution networks.
Assessing Energy Consumption Attitude, Efficiency, and Behavior among University Students
Energy is an invaluable resource that is critical for the advancement of life, economic processes, and society as a whole. The aim of this research is to ascertain the attitudes and behaviors surrounding energy consumption and energy efficiency among the students at MUST University. A total of 199 students from MUST University in Malaysia participated in this study. It was found that the majority of students exhibited a keen interest in energy consumption; however, their attitudes and behaviors were more closely associated with environmental concerns. Surprisingly, 50.8% of the students displayed limited attention towards electricity consumption, despite the fact that many of them were pursuing courses pertaining to the environment and energy matters. As for energy efficiency, the findings indicated that a considerable portion of the students (48.7%) adopted a moderate attitude towards its significance. Furthermore, a significant majority of students (62.3%) expressed approval towards the energy efficiency measures implemented by the university. Consequently, it is highly recommended for the university to actively involve students in the decision-making process, with the aim of reducing electricity consumption and enhancing overall efficiency. By actively engaging students in the decision-making process, the university can tap into their knowledge and perspectives, thereby fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility. Integrating student opinions and ideas into energy-related initiatives will not only enhance energy efficiency measures, but also promote a culture of sustainability on campus. This study provides valuable insights for MUST University and other educational institutions regarding the importance of involving students in energy-related decision-making processes. In conclusion, this research sheds light on the energy consumption attitudes, energy efficiency attitudes, and behaviors among students at MUST University. The findings highlight the need for the university to actively involve students in energy-related decision making, in order to promote energy efficiency and sustainability.
Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency
This study aims to determine the existing synergy among renewable energies and energy efficiency, by identifying their advantages and benefits, to do that evidence is taken from Tecnalia company which is considered as a pioneer and leading company in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency. The results of the study reveal that: First, Tecnalia company can help organizations to save more energy and achieve the energy efficiency, by providing some innovative products. Second, Tecnalia provides for organization the service to use and adopt the renewable energy sources. Third, Tecnalia provides some efficient renewable products. Finally, energy efficiency and Renewable energy are working in synergy to reach global energy decarbonization. When pursued together, they result in higher shares of renewable energy, a faster reduction in energy intensity, and lower energy system costs. This also brings environmental and social benefits, such as less air pollution. Moreover, all countries can benefit from the important synergies between renewable energies and energy efficiency. Specific technologies enable energy efficiency and renewable energies in the energy and end-use sectors.
كفاءة الطاقة كآلية لاستدامة قطاع النقل في الجزائر
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز دور قطاع النقل والمواصلات في زيادة استهلاك الطاقة بالجزائر، وكذا التأثيرات البيئية لهذا القطاع لاسيما تلوث الهواء وزيادة انبعاثات غازات الاحتباس الحراري. ومن ثم ضرورة تحسين كفاءة الطاقة لاسيما في قطاع النقل، والتي يتم قياسها من خلال مجموعة من المؤشرات تبين التقدم المحرز في هذا المجال وتسمح بوضع السياسات والبرامج لتحسين كفاءة الطاقة وتحقيق نقل مستدام. وهذا ما تسعى الجزائر إلى تحقيقه من خلال وضع سياسة للتحكم في الطاقة في قطاع النقل تشتمل على مجموعة من البرامج تهدف إلى التخفيض من استهلاك الطاقة في القطاع، تحسين نوعية الوقود، التقليل من حركة النقل بإعطاء الأولوية للنقل الجماعي. إلا أنه يبقى على الجزائر بذل المزيد من الجهود لتحسين كفاءة الطاقة وتحقيق نقل مستدام ذلك أنه بالرغم من السياسات الموضوعة إلا أن كفاءة الطاقة عرفت تراجعا في السنوات الأخيرة.
السعة العقلية وعلاقتها بالكفاءة الذاتية الأكاديمية لدى طلاب كلية التربية جامعة بني سويف
هدف البحث الحالي إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين السعة العقلية والكفاءة الذاتية الأكاديمية لدى طلاب كلية التربية جامعة بني سويف، وذلك على عينة قوامها (٤٠٠) طالبا وطالبة، بمتوسط أعمار (19.71) وانحراف معياري (3.10)، وتم تطبيق مقياس السعة العقلية \"إعداد الباحثة\"، ومقياس الكفاءة الذاتية الأكاديمية \"إعداد شيماء إبراهيم، ۲۰۲۱\" في الفصل الدراسي الثاني للعام الجامعي ۲۰۲۲- ۲۰۲۳م، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وأظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة دالة إحصائيا عند مستوي (0.01) بين السعة العقلية والكفاءة الذاتية الأكاديمية لدى أفراد عينة البحث.
