This study aims to investigate the reasons of test anxiety among EFL learners. The data collected via a questionnaire including (34) items prepared by the researchers and translated into Arabic language to fit with students understanding and awareness. The tool was distributed to University of Dongola - College of Education first level students, (100) students were selected randomly from among (350) through the process of the stratified random sample, for the academic year (2019-2020). The Descriptive Analytic Method was used to accomplish the statistical analyses process of the primary data; the statistical results proved that test anxiety is caused by various elements; which are directly associated with EFL learners themselves (confidence, academic standard and their background in the target subject), besides parents' attitudes toward the students make them feel sorrow, afraid of failure and blame, surrounding environment and timing. To enhance efforts of solving ELT test anxiety problems these factors must be treated, the relationship between these factors and their impact on each other is a vital point of study that the researcher recommends.

The current study investigates the association between attitudes towards foreign language (FL) in Saudi classroom settings, FL Classroom Anxiety (FLCA), as well as FLE (Foreign Language Enjoyment). The effects of gender and age variables have been also examined. Participants are 235 undergraduate and graduate learners of English as a foreign language (EFL) at King Khalid University. They participated in an online survey using a Likert scale. Both a measure of FLCA based on 8 questions taken from the FLCAS (Horwitz, Horwitz, & Cope, 1986) as well as a measure of FLE on the basis of twenty-one items (Dewaele & MacIntyre, 2014) were utilized. An open-ended question on FLCA was added to provide narrative data. Statistical findings showed that there was a significant negative correlation between foreign language enjoyment (FLE) and foreign language classroom anxiety (FLCA). More specifically, the results of statistical analysis showed that FLE levels were substantially greater than FLCA levels. For gender differences, female participants outperformed their male contemporaries, in terms of FLE and FLCA scale scores. Moreover, the youngest participants were statistically the least anxious and the most satisfied. Higher ratings on attitudes towards the FL were correlated with lower FLCA levels. Testimonies of participants demonstrated that teacher's personality, and competitiveness among peers heightened their classroom anxiety. The positive attitudes impact on lowering FLCA found in this research may support teaching and learning the FL in Saudi context.

This study aimed to identify the foreign languages mastering skills for a sociology student at the University of Relizane; thus, a survey has been conducted for measuring purpose of such skills with a sample consisting of 139 students; besides, the obtained information have been handled with the SPSS Program. In the light of which, the reached results concluded that sociology students fail to master at least one foreign language, with a prefer ability to the capacity to write among other linguistic competences; moreover, there exists a statistically significant difference in the use of foreign languages which is imputed to the success estimation variable in the baccalaureate exam

هدفت الدراسة الحالية لإعداد مقياس باللغة العربية يقيس الاستعداد للتواصل باللغة الثانية في الثقافة المصرية بناء على نموذج ماكنتاير. وبحث الخصائص السيكومترية للمقياس ومؤشرات الصدق والثبات. تم الحصول على عينة متاحة على الإنترنت من الطلاب (ن 200)، من خلال طرح المقياس على صيغة Google Form وارسالها إلى الطلاب بكليات التربية والآداب والألسن بجامعة قناة السويس. تم تحليل البيانات باستخدام برنامج SPSS (26)، وبرنامج R لإجراء التحليل العاملي الاستكشافي والتوكيدي بطريقة الاحتمالية القصوى. أفرز التحليل العاملي الاستكشافي EFA سبعة عوامل فسرت 64.70 من التباين في سلوك الاستعداد للتواصل باللغة الثانية (سلوك التواصل، الاستعداد للتواصل، المقدمات الموقفية للتواصل، دافعية التواصل بين الأفراد، الثقة بالنفس المرتبطة باللغة الثانية في مواقف التواصل، الدافعية لتعلم اللغة الثانية والتوجهات الغرضية، بالإضافة إلى القدرة التواصلية باللغة الثانية). تراوحت قيم معامل الثبات ألفا لأبعاد المقياس السبع ما بين 0.6 إلى 0.9 كما تراوح معامل أوميجا للعوامل السبع من 0.6 إلى 0.9. وبتطبيق التحليل العاملي التوكيدي للعوامل الناتجة عن التحليل الاستكشافي كانت مؤشرات حسن المطابقة للمفردات كالتالي: كاي تربيع= 1242.802، p=0.00 ومؤشر RMSEA=0.06 ومؤشر CFI=0.90 ومؤشر SRMR=0.06 وعليه يتمتع النموذج بمطابقة مقبولة. نوقشت نتائج الدراسة في ضوء ما أظهره نموذج التحليل العاملي الاستكشافي والتوكيدي للعوامل السبعة. قدمت الدراسة توصيات للدراسات المستقبلية في مجال علم النفس اللغوي.

La production textuelle évolue graduellement d'un stade à un autre, démontrant ainsi l'alternance entre l'écriture et la réécriture. Ces deux activités sont conçues comme des composantes complexes de l'enseignement/ apprentissage de l'écrit en FLE. Pour certains scripteurs, revenir à leur texte peut se limiter à la correction formelle de la langue, négligeant ainsi plusieurs niveaux de contrôle en raison de leurs ressources limitées en mémoire et en attention. La dynamique de la révision/réécriture implique l'introduction de nouvelles pratiques et stratégies pour permettre aux apprenants de maîtriser l'écrit. Dans cette optique, cette contribution vise à mettre en place un dispositif pour faciliter la transition de l'écriture à la réécriture d'un texte argumentatif en FLE auprès de scripteurs en 4ème année moyenne. L'approche adoptée repose sur une étude comparative entre deux contextes distincts d'apprentissage de la révision/réécriture. L'expérimentation montre que ce dispositif peut dynamiser le processus de lecture et encourager le retour aux textes déjà rédigés.

تناول البحث مشكلات النطق لدى الأطفال بصورة عامة وتلاميذ المدارس الابتدائية بصوره خاصة ولاسيما في المجتمع العراقي والبحث في سبر أغوارها، مبينا مشكلات النطق لدى التلاميذ، أنواعها ومظاهرها، وأسبابها، وكيفية تأهيل وتدريب التلاميذ.

استهدف البحث الحالي تنمية مهارات البحث الإلكتروني لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية من خلال بيئة تعلم إلكتروني قائمة على استخدام نظام إدارة الصفوف (Google classroom) التعليمية؛ ولتحقيق هذا الهدف اعتمدت الباحثة على المنهج شبه التجريبي، والمنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وأعدت اختبار التحصيل المعرفي المرتبط بمهارات البحث الإلكتروني لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية، وبطاقة ملاحظة الجانب العملي لمهارات البحث الإلكتروني، وتم اختيار عينة البحث بطريقة قصدية، بلغ عدد تلاميذها (60) تلميذا من تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية بمدرسة الشهيد تامر بكر الإعدادية، وقسمت العينة إلى مجموعتين (مجموعة \"ضابطة\" درست بالطريقة التقليدية- مجموعة \"تجريبية\" درست باستخدام بيئة التعلم الإلكتروني القائمة على استخدام نظام إدارة الصفوف (Google Classroom) التعليمية، وبعد تطبيق البرنامج على أفراد العينة وتطبيق الاختبار التحصيلي وبطاقة الملاحظة قبليا وبعديا أسفرت النتائج عن وجود فرق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0,01) بين متوسطي درجات تلاميذ المجموعة الضابطة، والمجموعة التجريبية في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار التحصيل المعرفي وبطاقة ملاحظة الأداء العملي لمهارات البحث الإلكتروني لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، وفي ضوء هذه النتائج تم تقديم بعض التوصيات والمقترحات.

The purpose of this study was to determine the perception and performance of foreign language students at the University of Jordan during a course on word formation and collocation where flipped classroom learning was applied. Flipping classroom is in contrast to a traditional class, where the students are responsible for reading the assigned readings and watching the assigned videos before the class, and the class time is used for practical tasks and thoughtful discussions. During this study, data were collected using quantitative and qualitative methods; a feedback questionnaire, course log data and an interview were used to study the perception of the students and teacher on flipped classroom. The results of the analysis conducted on word formation and collocation course were appreciated, students react positively to general elements of flipped classroom learning. In conclusion, both teacher and students believe that flipped classroom learning has a positive effect on learning effectiveness. However, they expressed that they are facing a few challenges during this course.
