Good life inside the box
2008
\"People are always quite amazed when they come inside. They think a house made out of containers will be just a container with a door cut in it.\" A three-bedroom container house would sell for around $130,000 or up to $180,000 \"for your flash Harry\". He says he does not tell people where clients' homes are because the houses tend to arouse interest and curious members of the public have gone \"banging on the door wanting to look around inside\".

Trendspotting: Workflow Part 3 JDF Certification-Why Should You Care?
2009
[Mark Bohan]: The certification process was initiated by CIP4 in 2003. At the time, the JDF specification had been developed and there were lots of suppliers saying, \"I am JDF this and JDF that, which didn't really mean anything. Anyone could put an XML tag into their code and say they were JDF-enabled. That doesn't actually give you any functionality or confidence about what the product is able to do.

Station tunes in to fill a big void
in
Bohan, Suzanne
,
Marks, Bob
2006
Bob Marks is a San Mateo native and director of Peninsula TV, San Mateo County's public access cable station. Times reporter Suzanne Bohan talked with Marks about his ambitions for his award-winning station, as well as the threat it faces from a bill in the state Assembly. AB 2987 could eliminate plans to create 86 new digital video hubs -- sites throughout the county from which live broadcasts could be aired on Peninsula TV. Marks says he believes the expansion could spur citizen participation in local politics. A. I saw there was a real void here on the Peninsula, and there was an opportunity to create regional programming. This is programming about the community and about issues that are critical, whether it's transportation, housing or the environment. These are local issues that largely don't get covered by news media in San Francisco and San Jose. Peninsula TV reaches viewers from Daly City to Redwood City (excluding coastal regions) on channel 26 for Comcast subscribers and channel 27 for RCN subscribers. For information on Peninsula TV and a show schedule, visit http://www.pentv.tv.tv ok or call (650) 637-1936 during business hours.

Official who was rebuffed resigns from zoning board
2007
\"I received a copy of an e-mail today, that was written to the ZBA chairman, stating that Mr. [Mark Ransom] has resigned from his position on the ZBA, effective immediately,\" said Mr. [James M. Kreidler Jr.]. \"I'll be attending paramedic school,\" explained Mr. [Corey Bohan]. Once his schooling is completed, Mr. Bohan will work as a paramedic for the town. \"In our experience, the state Ethics Commission interprets the term `supervision' in 21A literally. For boards like the Zoning Board of Appeals, the Planning Board and the Conservation Commission, which have statutory and bylaw authority and do not answer to or require approval of the Board of Selectmen, such boards are not `under the supervision' of the Board of Selectmen and the prohibition in c.268, 21A does not apply,\" lawyer John W. Giorgio wrote in a letter to Mr. Kreidler.
