Schwind retires after 36 years in National Guard
In 2001, Schwind was assigned as the operations sergeant for the Engineer Brigade, 34th Infantry Division. Three years later, he assumed duties as the command sergeant major for the 164th Engineer Battalion. Schwind served overseas in Iraq with the unit from 2007 to 2008 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon his return, he was assigned to the 68th Troop Command as the operations sergeant and later as the command sergeant major.

This \"Santa\" is Donald J. Bohn, 63, whom cops recently arrested for making lewd comments to women trying to shop at a Naples Wal-Mart, reports the Naples Daily News. A woman told a cop that Bohn, dressed in a Santa Claus shirt and hat, questioned her about her virginity and made other sexual-related comments.

Pasty Jean was born on Oct. 28, 1931, in Stanley, to Charles and Valesta (Meier) [Hynek]. She was raised and attended school in Stanley, and attended college at Minot State where she met Raymond J. Bohn. She and Ray married on Oct. 14, 1950, in Minot. They lived in Minot and moved to Bismarck in 1962. After raising her seven children, Pat opened a jewelry store in Bismarck which she owned and operated for 10 years. During that time she also served as a civilian aid to the Secretary of the Navy and was on the Board for the American Red Cross. She was an avid bridge player who never liked to lose, a trait which she happily passed onto her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Age 78. Resident of Eagle River, WI, since 1990 and formerly of East Troy, WI, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the Eagle River Memorial Hospital in Eagle River. [Frank] was born on November 28, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI. He married Alice J. (nee Jetke) on August 19, 1950. He worked as an electrician for over 30 years at WE Energies (formerly Wisconsin Electric). He and his wife owned and operated Inn-Law's in Three Lakes, WI.

He again served overseas in 2009 in support of a peacekeeping mission in Kosovo with Kosovo Forces 12, Task Force Falcon. Upon his return, he resumed duties as the senior army chaplain assistant/religious affairs specialist with Joint Force Headquarters. In March 2013, Dinger became the first chaplain assistant in the North Dakota Army National Guard to hold the rank of master sergeant.
