TIMING STRATEGIES IN COOPERATION AMONG CULTURAL AND ART INSTITUTIONS
In the field of strategic management, strategies have been so far considered mainly in thelong-term horizon, as a deliberately planned process with previously defined goals. Thus, theaspect of spontaneous, sudden, impulsive or even intuition-based actions, encouraging the useof emerging opportunities in the organization’s environment, also in relation to cooperationwith other entities, was omitted. At the same time, it has been shown that inter-organizationalcooperation is a relationship that may be short-term, temporary, incremental, emergingspontaneously, which is particularly visible among cultural and art institutions due to thespecific nature of their activities. The aim of the article is to present the importance of timeand the appropriate moment to take action and exemplification of the use of chances in thecooperation of cultural and art institutions based on timing strategies. The study is based on a qualitative, interpretive approach using 50 semi-structured inter-views conducted in the performing arts sector among public and private theaters. The studynot only identified but also illustrated the use of four timing strategies in inter-organizationalcooperation of cultural and art institutions that relate to the usage of chances in the environ-ment, i.e.: chance-grasping strategy, chance-entraining strategy, chance-riding strategy andchance-creating strategy. The article shows their use in performing arts using specific exam-ples. Research results prove that cultural and art institutions cooperate on a temporary, adhoc basis, taking advantage of favorable moments and opportunities emerging in the envi-ronment, hence they use different timing strategies, adapted to the current situation and theprevailing needs of the organization.

TÜRKİYE’DE ÖRGÜTSEL DEĞİŞİM VE ÖRGÜT GELİŞTİRME ALANINDAKİ BİLİMSEL ÇALIŞMALARIN BİBLİYOMETRİK ANALİZİ
Scientific studies in the field of organizational change and organization development in Turkey began to increase in the 1990s. With the reflection of the changes in the world on working life and organizations, certain changes have also been experienced in organizational change and organization development studies. For this reason, the aim of the study is to reveal the changes and developments in the field of organizational change and organizational development in Turkey. In this context, articles, theses and books in the field of organizational change and organizational development since the 1990s were analyzed bibliometrically. Along with the study, changes and developments in organizational change and organizational development studies in Turkey are discussed periodically. As a result of the bibliometric analysis, it was seen that there were more conceptual studies in the first years, empirical studies increased over time, public institutions were frequently preferred as application areas, and the studies focused on business, public administration and education. Based on these findings, the developments and changes in the field are discussed.

The dynamics of risk: changing technologies and collective action in seismic events
Earthquakes are a huge global threat. In thirty-six countries, severe seismic risks threaten populations and their increasingly interdependent systems of transportation, communication, energy, and finance. in this important book, the author provides an unprecedented examination of how twelve communities in nine countries responded to destructive earthquakes between 1999 and 2015. And many of the book's lessons can also be applied to other large-scale risks. This book sets the global problem of seismic risk in the framework of complex adaptive systems to explore how the consequences of such events ripple across jurisdictions, communities, and organizations in complex societies, triggering unexpected alliances but also exposing social, economic, and legal gaps. This book assesses how the networks of organizations involved in response and recovery adapted and acted collectively after the twelve earthquakes it examines. It describes how advances in information technology enabled some communities to anticipate seismic risk better and to manage response and recovery operations more effectively, decreasing losses. Finally, the book shows why investing substantively in global information infrastructure would create shared awareness of seismic risk and make postdisaster relief more effective and less expensive. The result is a landmark study of how to improve the way we prepare for and respond to earthquakes and other disasters in our ever-more-complex world.

Management and complex organizations
2025
The purpose of this study is to examine the direct and indirect effects of high-performance work systems (HPWS) on organisational innovation and to analyse the mediating role of intellectual leadership and knowledge management elements in this effect. A quantitative research method was adopted in the study, and data were collected from 557 participants through a survey. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), reliability analyses, correlation tests, structural equation modelling (SEM), and the Sobel test were used in the analysis of the data. The research findings show that HPS directly affects organisational innovation and also creates indirect effects through intellectual leadership and knowledge management. The structural equation modelling results revealed that YPİS has a significant direct effect on intellectual leadership (β=0.72, p<. 001), knowledge management (β=0.68, p<. 001), and organisational innovation (β=0.64, p< 001). Additionally, the effects of intellectual leadership (β=0.49, p<. 001) and knowledge management (β=0.53, p<. .001) on organisational innovation were also found to be significant. According to the Sobel test results, the partial mediating role of both variables was statistically supported. The model's fit indices (RMSEA=0.055; CFI=0.95; GFI=0.91; χ²/df=2.61) indicate that the model fits the data well. The research concluded that high-performance work systems are effective in increasing organisational innovation, and that intellectual leadership and knowledge management are among the key factors that reinforce this effect. The findings contribute to both theoretical and practical aspects of strategic human resource management and innovation management.

Sustainability
2023
Research background: Sustainability in organizations is a business approach to creating long-term value by taking into consideration how a given organization operates in the ecological, social, and economic environments. The organizational practices that eventually lead to sustainable development are referred to as sustainable organization management. Purpose of the article: The purpose of this paper is to examine the current trends in sustainable organization management over the time period of 2015?2022, highlight the emerging themes in this study area, and provide guidance for further research in the field. Methods: This paper uses bibliometric meta-data analysis to present an analysis of current trends in sustainable organizational management. An in-depth analysis of a sample result of 619 papers from the Web of Science core collection was conducted with the use of biblioshiny, the R-Programming Language package, and the VoS Viewer software. A global representation of concepts was created using the relational directory network visualization technique based on VoS Viewer software. Keyword cooccurrence relationships were determined; relational techniques were used to visualize bibliographic coupling density to identify thematic areas with little research; and overlay visualization bibliometric techniques were used to identify new and old research themes. Findings & value added: Emerging themes are modeling, tourism, and perceptions. Motor theme areas in the field of study include performance, impact, and management. The paper concludes that the study area of organizational sustainability management is still in its early stages and has great research potential, such as Africa as a study area, despite the fact that there have been few or no research findings. Future research should examine the role of technology and innovation in promoting sustainable practices within organizations and clarify how well an organization can survive global competition.
