\"We are so grateful to all of our volunteers who dedicate their time and ideas to help make our participation in the program such a success,\" said Peg Costigan, Immaculate Conception's team leader for Feed the Kids. \"More importantly, it's so very rewarding to see the smiling, appreciative children at every event.\" \"Therefore many children do not have a hot meal until Monday morning breakfast after Friday lunch\" at school, [Darlene Robinson] said. \"Any food left over from the Boys & Girls Club event is delivered hot to the local Hendersonville Mission, serving even more children and families and ensuring no food is wasted.\" \"We have been very fortunate that local produce providers have supplied fresh fruit and vegetables since it began,\" Robinson said. \"It just makes their meals more totally nutritious.\"

Peninsula transit service bumped up by TransLink

TransLink's $50-million radio system - expected next year - will help riders by giving them updates about delays when they phone the customer service line, he said. Currently, TransLink is not able to track the location of individual buses. White Rock resident Darlene Robinson has launched a website protesting no-shows on the 351 bus, claiming it failed to show up 25 times in less than a year. She's also organizing a petition and plans to collect feedback from riders to present to TransLink with a demand for more buses.

Windsor-built 1935 Dodge Brothers truck in N.S

My husband Greg has a Canadian-built 1935 Dodge Brothers pickup truck and we were wondering if you know of any other Canadian-built Dodge Brothers vehicles of this era still existing in Canada.\" The very next day, they sent me the story of their truck: \"Bill: We are sending a picture of what the truck looked like two years ago when we bought it but it has since been dismantled for restoration. We bought the truck from its second owner, a relative of the original owner in Cape Breton. \"We have the 1939 permit for the truck along with the original owner's 1939 driver's license and a Dodge Brothers (Canada) Limited original owner's manual.
