Ubisoft to make motion-control 'Avengers' game
The game will be the latest addition to Ubisoft's motion-control arsenal. Previous titles released by the Canadian publisher that rely on gesture-based devices include the artsy shooter \"Child of Eden,\" street brawler \"Fighters Uncaged,\" superhero dueler \"PowerUp Heroes,\" the \"Your Shape\" fitness franchise and top-selling \"Just Dance\" series. Sega created each of the games pegged to the films of \"The Avengers\" forerunners, including last year's \"[Thor]: God of Thunder\" and \"Captain America: Super Soldier,\" but there was no console game released this year alongside director Joss Whedon's blockbuster \"The Avengers,\" just the mobile game \"Marvel's The Avengers\" and Facebook title \"Marvel: Avengers Alliance.\" Marvel's superheroes have been a dominant presence throughout the history of games. They most recently assembled for the Capcom brawler \"Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3\" and the Activision Inc. role-playing sequel \"Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2.\" Gazillion Entertainment is currently developing a free-to-play online game featuring them called \"Marvel Heroes.\"

They just don't want to play the same games their brothers play.\" Some of the biggest include THQ's All Star Cheer Squad, Electronic Arts' Littlest Pet Shop, Disney Interactive's High School Musical 3 and Ubisoft's Ener-G Dance Squad and Party Babyz.
Trusts to scale the heights of Europe
Macquarie Equities analyst Rob Stanton agreed that Australian property trusts could increase profits by diversifying into European property. Mr [Tony Key] said that despite the limited local choice, Australian investors seeking exposure to European property would be better off buying into local trusts than buying European stock direct. In that period, British trusts, on average, delivered returns less than half of Australian trusts and were almost twice as risky - - largely because of high gearing, he said.
Wine glut forces McGuigan writedown
Speaking to the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce in Adelaide yesterday, Mr [Tony Keys] said Australian wine producers should look beyond Britain for export sales because the wine boom of the 1990s was a one-off \"phenomenon\". Australia's second-largest listed wine producer, which relies on bulk wine sales for more than half of its business, decided to conduct the review as it had been affected as \"already low\" bulk wine prices fell a further 30 to 40 a litre in the past six months, Mr [Dane Hudson] said. Mr Keys told the Adelaide conference the top 20 Australian wine companies, which make 80 per cent of the nation's wine, should not need to rely on organisations such as the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation or the Winemakers Federation of Australia.
WINE McGuigan hit Grape glut forces a writedown
[McGuigan Simeon] said the writedown - of about 9 per cent of inventory - came after another large vintage in Australia and a grape harvest in the U.S. 20 per cent above forecast. McGuigan handles about 15 per cent of Australia's grape crush and, excluding contract processing, had a grape intake this year of 197,000 tonnes, down 11 per cent on 2005. Mr [Tony Keys] said Australia's top 20 winemakers should not be relying on bodies such as the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation or the Winemakers Federation of Australia. However, the 2000 smaller wineries did need support as they targeted the U.S. and China.

McIe dragged himself toward Adams' headlamp, the only one still working. McIe found his friend on the ground, surrounded by chunks of concrete blasted from the nearby wall. Soon, McIe and [Palmer] emerged from Four Section on a rail cart. They picked up [Tony Key] and started toward the mine entrance. [Boyd] and the five men with him were shocked at how bad McIe, Palmer and Key looked. Key was barely recognizable, his hair was standing straight up and his face completely blackened. McIe was holding a rag to his head, stanching a cut on his forehead. Palmer appeared to be in shock.
