OBITUARIES
Vasily V. Kuznetsov, 89, who served as vice president to several Soviet leaders, died in Moscow on Tuesday, the official newspaper Pravda reported. Mr. Kuznetsov became Soviet vice president in 1977 under Leonid I. Brezhnev and later served under Yuri Andropov and Konstantin Chernenko.
