Mundy, Daniel
2011
\"We're optimistic - and he is, too - this will give him a better quality of life,\" said his mother, Paula Mundy. \"It's not a cure or anything. It's simply treating the symptoms.\" \"He's brave enough to make videos and talk to people about Huntington's disease,\" said Jason Mundy, who has posted one video on YouTube. \"They can actually see what happens to a man with Huntington's disease in the prime of his life.\" \"[Daniel Mundy] is one of my heroes. He really is. He puts himself out there in front of people in a way other people wouldn't,\" said friend Tina Hellum, whose father also had Huntington's. \"In a world where people like to judge, Daniel's out there. ... He's really out there for what we're trying to do: finding that cure for my daughter, for his daughter and for many others,\"

Death's bright day
\"Captain Daniel Leary thinks that his marriage will allow him to slip into the quiet role of a naval officer in peacetime. His friend, the spy and cybrarian Adele Mundy, is content to be collating data in her library. But high officials of both superpowers are involved. Those who want Daniel and Adele to become involved in the Tarbell Stars claim that only they can prevent a war between the Republic of Cinnabar and its great rival, the Alliance of Free Stars. The conflict is political, but at the sharp end it means blazing warfare and cold-blooded murder. Daniel and Adele will be at the sharp end\"--Amazon.com.
CROSS IN BRAOAD CHANNEL, ROCKAWAY ABOUT BRIDGE TOLL PLAN
2010
\"We're getting hit from all sides, and we can use a little help and a little fairness\" from the MTA, said Daniel Mundy, 47, a firefighter and Broad Channel resident who uses the bridge every day. \"It's going to be a hardship for a lot of people.\" \"How can we justify charging people to travel to and from their own community?\" [Eric Ulrich] asked. \"This is not going to solve the MTA's problem.\" \"If you live in the Bronx, you go to the beach for free. But if you live in Queens, you have to pay to go to the beach. That's unfair,\" said [Audrey Pheffer].

Though hell should bar the way
\"Roy Olfetrie planned to be an officer in the Republic of Cinnabar but when his father was unmasked as a white-collar criminal he had to take whatever was offered. What is offered is a chance to accompany Captain Daniel Leary and Lady Adele Mundy as they go off to start a war that will put Roy at the sharp end. Duty snatches Roy from the harem of a pirate chief to a world of monsters, from interstellar reaches in a half-wrecked starship to assassination attempts at posh houses. The action doesn't slow and nor can Roy. Captain Leary himself has given Roy a chance and he is determined to make the most of it\"-- Provided by publisher.

Stimson found guilty of marijuana charges
2015
\"Nothing's been lost. Nothing's been hidden. There's no subterfuge,\" [Doug Mundy] added. \"No bad faith by either one of these officers. But they (the defense) want you to focus on the 'after.' They don't want you to focus on before, when the items were weighed fresh. ... Don't lose sight of the ball. ... At the time the item was seized, it weighed in excess of 10 pounds.\" He told the jury that [Erik Summey] testified [Todd Stimson] mostly sold to medicinal users and \"only occasionally sold to recreational users, just occasionally,\" Mundy said. \"Do you think Pfizer does that down in Raleigh? Do you think they go out on the street and say, 'Hey, I know you're not a patient of mine, but here's some Percocet. I'll sell you some. It's just for fun.'\" \"Oh my goodness! The Popsicle's melted. The Popsicle's decomposed,\" Mundy says, rapping on the trash can. \"You've got no case, teacher! You've got to let [Johnny] go!\"
