PREDICTION: Swedish retailer IKEA will announce plans for its first Sacramento-area store -- in Natomas. REALITY: And how. First, in March, upstart carrier JetBlue Airways began offering service between Sacramento and New York. It added service to Washington, D.C., in May, the same month that Continental started Sacramento-Newark, N.J., flights. Then, in June, United jumped in with its own Sacramento-D.C. service.
