Financial Mail, London, Gadfly column
The DTI is jolly keen on the euro and the Treasury is generally hostile. The think-tank, the Centre for Economic Policy Research, is behind the event, and the CEPR's Richard Baldwin will give a paper suggesting euro membership (or not) has less impact on trade flows than first thought. Meanwhile, the latest Big Brother series grinds on, in vindication of Gadfly's Law. One inmate of the BB madhouse is Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, a 27-year-old former \"promo girl.\" The connection? Aisleyne was once involved in a Gizmondo promotion -- see our photographic evidence. The chap cuddling her is Stefan Eriksson, a leading figure in Gizmondo.
